So its been about 6 and a half years or so since i've updated my anything on DA, been through a lot in those last years, considering picking up 3d modeling again in my free time.

ugh, right now, i am congested.. very badly, i had a sore throat a few days ago, killed the hell out of that with.. 50 or so cough drops. but on a better note, a friend of mine secured an advanced RMA on my harddrive with her credit card, so maxtor will be shipping my replacement drive before i send them the borked one. :D

Well, i havent been on DA much at all till i started modeling again, but low and behold something else has to go and fuck itself up. My 120 GB Maxtor harddrive took a dive yesterday, system uptime was 69 days, now ive got bad blocks on my /home partition which was 100 gigs. ran maxtors utilities and my harddrive is 'failing' according to it. So now i have to send it back, wait for a replacement since its under warranty, and reinstall gentoo which will take several days. Then get everything back up to normal, i figure it will take a few weeks.
